Toute l'histoire de l'art en images subliminales (The whole art history in subliminal pictures), 2007-2009
Installation, 185 cm x 210 cm x 210 cm, painted wood, mirrors, video monitor, video loop of 18 minutes.
A video monitor tube is turned face up with four mirrors forming a truncated pyramid upon of it. The video image, multiplied by a kaleidoskopic effect shows bubbles, smoke and the frozen surface of the lake in front of Summer Palace in Beijing. Many subliminal messages are inserted in the video forming a subjective version of "the art history".
